CCBHC

MCMHA is a Certified Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). CCBHCs are designed to provide a broad array of mental health and substance use disorder services to persons of all ages, regardless of ability to pay, including those who are underserved, have low incomes, have Medicaid, are privately insured or uninsured, and are active-duty military or veterans. It underscores our commitment to provide everyone in our community with access to mental health care.

Joint Commission

The Joint Commission is the nation’s leading and most widely recognized healthcare performance improvement organization. Achieving The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® shows our commitment to holding our organization accountable to a high bar for quality and safety for those we serve, including providing a safe environment for care, protecting patients’ rights, and planning for emergencies, among other standards of care.

MDHHS CMH Recertification

The Mental Health Code requires the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services (MDHHS) to establish standards for certification and the certification review process for CMH organizations. This re-certification process involves rigorous evaluations to ensure that CMH organizations continue to meet the required standards for providing mental health services to the community.

This certification indicates that the organization operates in alignment with Clubhouse International’s model principles, which emphasize community, recovery, and empowerment for individuals with mental illness. By achieving this certification, we’ve demonstrated our commitment to providing supportive environments where individuals can rebuild their lives, develop skills, and engage in meaningful activities as they work toward recovery.
