Why did I want to be on the MCMHA Board? 

I want to be an advocate for our consumers.  Working with my fellow board members I hope to ensure that our consumers receive excellent services and that the agency effectively uses the resources available to them.

Occupation & Education: 

• Retired from the Monroe County Intermediate School District as a Reading Consultant
• Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Eastern Michigan University
• Master of Arts in Special Education Emotionally Impaired from Eastern Michigan University
• Master of Arts in Reading from Eastern Michigan University

More about me:

I serve on the Business Operations Committee, and I serve as a Chairperson on the Recipient Rights Advisory Committee. For the first 10 years, I served on the Board, my daughter received services, so I have sat on both sides of the table. I am very proud of the work that has been accomplished in the past and that I am sure will be accomplished in the future.  I am proud to be a small part of that.
