Why did I want to be on the MCMHA Board?

I have spent my professional career in the service of others in need of psychiatric-mental health services, as a Provider, a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, a Director of Nursing at a Psychiatric Hospital, a Professor of Psychiatric Nursing, and a Psychiatric Nursing Consultant. When I retired, I wanted to continue serving this population.  Being on the MCMHA Board of Directors has been integral to my personal mission.
