At Monroe Community Mental Health Authority, we believe no one’s ability to pay should impact their ability to receive care and support. For questions about paying for services, call us at 734-243-7340.

When you come to Monroe Community Mental Health Authority for your appointment, please have the following documents with you: 

  • ID
  • Insurance Card
  • List of current medications
  • History of treatment
  • Guardianship documents

We primarily serve the Medicaid population, but we will not deny services based on insurance type.

While we do offer in-home services, the location of the meeting is based on your choice. For more information about what you need to know before your appointment, call us at 734-243-7340.

In most cases, yes, the parent or guardian should be present, but you should follow up with us prior to your appointment. Your unique circumstances will determine if you should be present our not. Call us at 734-243-7340 with your question.

No. You can access all crisis services, including crisis mobile, by calling the MCMHA office at 734-243-7340. We’ll make sure you are in contact with the right person.

If you are in crisis, call our office 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year at 734-243-7340. Our crisis services team is prepared to support you.

If your or your loved one is experiencing thoughts or feelings of suicide, please immediately call the National Suicide and Crisis Life Line by dialing 9-8-8.

Yes, you can call any time during the day. If it is after business hours and you are calling for a routine matter, then you call will be responded to within 24 hours. For routine matters, call our office at 734-243-7340.

 

All crises will be handled at the time of the call by our crisis services team when you call our office at 734-243-7340 or call our crisis hotline at 1-800-273-8255.

You can call to ask questions about mental health services or intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) services for you or someone else. However, the person interested in treatment will need to complete the screening for services, and that individual must be agreeable to treatment. 

If you are a parent seeking services for your child, we offer child and family mental health services and child intellectual and/or developmental disability services (I/DD) to support your child/ren.
