Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.
Michigan Peer Warmline
Individuals living with persistent mental health challenges including anxiety, depression and trauma can speak with someone who has lived these challenges themselves. Operates seven days a week from 10:00 am – 2:00 am.

Provides services to low-income individuals and families in Monroe County.
Michigan Works
Provides jobseekers with the support, training and services they need to get back to work, find new employment, obtain needed credentials, and more. SEMCA Michigan Works job centers are located in Dearborn, Grosse Pointe, Highland Park, Livonia, Monroe, Southgate and Wayne.
